High-Risk Pregnancies
Our site conducts clinical trials in high-risk obstetrics to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes, focusing on conditions like preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, twin gestation and preterm labor through innovative clinical studies and expert care.
Menopause Symptoms
Our site conducts specialized clinical trials on the menopausal transition through rigorous, patient-centered study designs. Cervical Dysplasia & HPV
We specialize in evaluating new approaches to the prevention and management of cervical dysplasia and HPV-related conditions. Gazelle Clinical Research
Gazelle Clinical Research is a clinical research site located in northern Virginia that is specialized in women’s health. It is led by Dr. Supriya Varma, who is the Principal Investigaror (PI). She runs the premier OB/GYN clinic Women’s Care Group, Ob/Gyn. The expertise of Gazelle Clinical Research includes:

Women’s Care Group ObGyn is an established high-risk ObGyn practice located across from Reston Hospital at 1860 Town Center Dr, Ste 240, Reston, VA 20190. Women’s Care Group ObGyn has consistently been ranked as a top ObGyn in the northern Virginia area.

Supriya Varma, MD, FACOG
President and Principal Investigator
Dr. Supriya Varma is a leader in women’s health and Principal Investigator at Gazelle Clinical Research, bringing decades of clinical and research experience. She was a Special Research Fellow at Ohio State University, where she published extensively and won the Outstanding Clinical Researcher Award. She then completed her residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she received the Golden Apple Award, and founded Women’s Care Group Ob/Gyn in 2001. Having delivered over 10,000 babies, she is deeply committed to compassionate care and advancing innovative clinical trials that improve health outcomes for women. Dr. Varma also holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, combining clinical expertise with strong leadership to expand access to cutting-edge therapies.

Wilbur Coleman, PhD
Chieft Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer
Wilbur Coleman, Ph.D., University of Chicago, is the Chief Technology Officer for Gazelle Clinical Research. Dr. Coleman has extensive experience in designing Medical Practice Management and Electronic Medical Record systems. With a background in economics and computational algorithms, he has a keen understanding for designing efficient workflow systems for complex, multistage operations. He has worked with Dr. Varma for over 10 years to design and implement an efficient medical practice, focusing on technology, automation, workflow, skill composition of staff, and relation to external systems.

Agata Greer, PA-C
Sub-Investigator
Agata Greer is a Certified Physician Assstant and a Sub-I. She graduated with a PA degree from Shenandoah University, Winchester, Virginia. In addition to her responsibilities at Gazelle Clinical Research and Women’s Care Group ObGyn, she has a clinical appointment at George Washington University, Washington, DC.
